Silkie thread!

I was sold a supposedly one year old silkie hen. Was told she had been laying awhile and that she had just finished setting. Now reading more and that roosters and hens can be similar, I'm just worried that she's not a she. No crowing had occurred, but she's not even half the size of my red sex links, my buff and my EE. What do you guys think?

She may be Bantam Silkie, I just got 11 Bantam Silkies 2 weeks ago as chicks, and Silkies are VERY low layers.

Has anyone ever gotten any silkies from Spring Hill Poultry Conservatory? I saw several ads for chicks and eggs on Craigslist. One ad says it's located in Sandy Hill FL and another says Spring Hill Fl. They look to be the same thing tho. It says it's dedicated to preserve heritage poultry, so I'm assuming they're good quaility.
Sorry I'm quoting myself, but can anyone answer this?
