Sadie kept looking in the incubator at the chicks so I took one out for her to see.

Our Golden Retriever thinks all chicks are her babies! Of course she thinks our cats are her babies too.

lol... my collie pup tries to lick and cuddle the chicks, and neighbors thought he would hurt the cochin chicks i just got, especially on purpose like theirs would but at least on purpose, but i just put them right in front of him, and when they started fussing, he licked and nudged the tiny bantam chicks up under the ruff of his neck between his front paws, and wouldnt let anyone but me near them.

mirrors are bad to have in with birds and reptiles as they become nerotic and causes stress and aggression after to long (was vet assistant that saw alot of perrot and song bird troubles, and also how they sometimes start training fighting birds). so would just either put a cheap friend in with it temp, a stuffed animal and let hear, maybe see others. never thought of feather duster till recent, and now find not original idea.

Aww that is so cute! My dog would be chattering his teeth at that point just waiting for me to turn my head so he could scarf the chick down
