I’ve seen silkies at the feed store that don’t have very floofy heads and no beards at all. Where does one get a silkie that has a bearded and created face?

This was fun. I also tested the egg shell from our recent Serama chick. Maybe I’ll do that one next but I think it is too young yet (2 weeks)

There's something about Silkies that puzzles me that I can't quite say I like
And this is it. The whole beyond-ridiculously-hard-to-sex thing. I know some people like them and that's great But I still fail to understand why a breed was developed that was so hard to sex and why someone isn't working to reverse that. Just my opinion, though.

I'm not dishing on anyone.
