Hi, my silkie started with what looked like a prolapsed vent…a couple days later and it looks like this (the green is bedadine from when I cleaned the area). I have a vet Saturday but anything to be done??

Are you soaking her bottom in warm soapy or Epsom salts water daily? It is hard to tell if the prolapse is dried out or necrotic. Keep it clean and it can help to keep the internal tissue moist with cream or ointment, so that it doesn’t dry out. Is she pooping okay?

Do you think there is a cure for this? I’m nervous they are going to want to euthanize her or charge me thousands

She’s lost weight and stays with the other hens, now I’ve removed her. The vet charges $100 just for inspection

Prolapses are common in hens. Many respond to treatment, while some don’t. It can recur. Is the prolapse staying in now? You may want to continue to treat her yourself. Here is a good article about the causes and treatment for prolapsed vents:

This is a really good link for helpful, knowledgable advice. Ne of my chickens had this problem when she was young. I used witch hazel on the vent area (after cleaning well and reducing the vent prolapse with a gloved finger), then applied Hydrogel to keep the area moist and promote healing.
