So the good broody from last year is at it again, and there may be others. Tossed some eggs under, to see, if she's a consistently good mother then there is hope her daughters might be too. 24 total project birds from the hatch this last week, of which 7 are black (Yay!). Still waiting to see feathering breakdown on the blues/blacks. It's been quiet over here so thought I'd post again

I was going to work on them in bantam Lavender next but frizzled sure would be fun

I've got some really nice frizzles with great type and egg color... I just might have to start a new pen with frizzle hens under a silkie roo lol
