Silkies - They’re simply SPECTACULAR!

Wow, 606 posts on this thread, and the stupid silkie scorner thread only had 305! Haha, silkies truly are spectacular! And this thread proves it!

no, whats actually sad is that there is that one percent of people that dont like silkies. But hey, haters gonna hate, theyre the ones missin out.

We have two Silkies just got them this past May and little chicks we didn't know the sexes until recently so it turned we have one of each the female is all black and the multi grey is a ROO and he is starting to find hid voice and oh my it's hilarious listening to him
For the Winter months are they more fragile then regular chickens.
we are just wondering what to do for them to prep them for Winter my hubby wants to bring the coop inside our big garage out of the elements where they would be safe
anyone have some suggestions

i thought they mentioned wanting a Cochin Silkie cross though.........
