Speaking of pics...any of your duccle pics lately?
Of course! 😬😬 they are SO tiny!! The one with the painters tape shoe is still iffy but seems to be very slowly growing stronger 😍 The other two look great 😍

So exciting!😍
Your lovely Chickaletta sounds like my Layla. Finally getting fertile eggs from her with the 3rd suitor.🤣
If Biscuit is full bearded, then most of the chicks will be half bearded.
If he is half bearded, then he likely carries the non bearded gene.
I had a beardless hen and crossed with a bearded rooster, the majority of the chicks were bearded. One was non-bearded.
I have also had two bearded birds throw beardless chicks, so not quite sure how it inherited, though I believe the bearding gene is incomplete dominant.😊
Biscuit is full bearded, hard to tell he was a he untill his comb grew big enough to show through his puffy round crest! 😄 Most of mine are bearded.

Ok...so...my hatch is not going good at all.😔 The only chick I have hatched was the one I posted this morning. There has been absolutely no movement from the other eggs except from the one that has the pip which I will rarely hear chirp. Should I candle? Hatch day started at 10 pm last night but there has been no movement from any of the eggs except from the pipped one. Please let me know if I should candle or wait a little longer.

OMGeeze! They r too precious! I can't wait to see how they grow out and their little cheeks!!!
Haha I know! I can’t wait for the beards! I had to use every fiber of my willpower to leave baby salmon faverolles at the feed store today. They were SO fat and their cheeks were so floofy!! 😩

I would say if there are no external pips, to go ahead and candle and see if there’s movement. I’ve had babies take awhile to join the world, so they may be slow. Don’t give up yet!
