Love her! :hugs
View attachment 1921799 This is a Partridge silkie x Belgian Quail! I have 4, 2 males 2 females. The hens are sweet and get along with everyone. I was a bit shocked how aggressive the roosters are, they attempted to fight to the death with everyone! The parents were the sweetest chickens I had! The father got along perfectly with other roosters. Had to separate the 2 sons and give them standard sized hens to keep them in line. They're much more well behaved now :gigI don't have a picture, but their tails are a gorgeous lavender color.
Lovely! :love
Buff
And what about this one?

Sorry I got a bit chatty today...:gig
Very nice thread you started though..:hugs
No problem! :hugs
I have 3 silkies and love their personalities. I have one showgirl hen and 2 younger ones that are about 23 weeks or so.
The get along with my cochin bantam and my standard size chickens.

You can't get any cuter than that!:love:love:love
How much do you sell them for and at what age? I want to start a silkie and OEG chick selling buisness as soon as my pullets start laying so I am trying to get all the information I can about prices.

I never thought I'd own a silkie. Until a little old lady gifted us one. Pompom is the sweetest thing I have ever owned, and I've owned alot of critters. Shes smarter then the average chook, hiding in the shadows of the tallest critter she can find, and following them around for protection. She had a favorelle rooster, but quickly forgot about him when she discovered the australorp rooster. I think if summer looks to be too hot for her (our days exceed 40 degrees Celsius at times) she may be a house petView attachment 1922078
She looks like a little white egg.
