They did just get a coop expansion! I won't connect it up until the new chicks are ready to go in.. hopefully it seems "new" enough that way so they get along. But yes, they will be in the next-next batch 😆

When the pets and kids fly the coop, i am not sure what I'll get.. I'll see which of these seem the easiest and most fun.. its hard, because i love them each so much! My one D'uccle, Minnie, i handled a ton as a chick, and i cannot get away from her fast enough before she is on my back or shoulder! I didn't know better, so i treated her like i treat my parrot, which has turned out pretty convenient, she actually picked up some commands.
 
Ive been collecting some pallets. I think i am going to build out a long table w storage for the chicken supplies/foods. I will put the current run/coop on top of it (oversized bunny hutch). I am thinking of painting it in a beach theme.. like waves on the front of the table, some skateboards and surf boards leaning up.. palm trees painted on.. and a beach cabana for the coop. i want it to be super cute.
