Here are the pictures. Sorry it took me all day..... camera batteries had to be charged and I had to get the pics after work. First picture is of the Aleutian silkie hen Holderread sent (now looking at her I believe that a couple of my other hens are Aleutians also but I've sent pics to Holderread to find out for sure)

They are so cute. Do their feathers get waterlogged at all? It seems like water wouldn't run off them as well.

No they are no different than any other duck except in looks. The natural oil on the feathers beads off the water like a regular feathered duck.
