Yes, a female should already be broody once you order eggs. That way you will not waste money on eggs that will not be sat on. Depending on what you purchase, you should have a very good idea of what you are hatching. The only reason you wouldn't be is if you purchased a surprise pack or something like that. Even mix breed eggs would come with the list of the mature birds on the property. Hatching eggs with an incubator is so sooo fun. It's cute, it's entertaining, it's educational, but I wouldn't trade this sight for the world
