View attachment 1032329 any thoughts on my 4 week old Wyandotte? View attachment 1032329 View attachment 1032330 Her comb is a little pink, but from what I've read these guys so.etudes mature a little early?
I've learned slw's can mature a little early as well. I'm on the same boat as you. My SLW is 8 weeks old and has had red comb and wattles since 5 weeks old and I'm still not sure as if it's a boy or a girl.
As for your bird, i'd say wait until that chick is 7-8 weeks old to know a bit more. Keep an eye on the legs thickness and length. Short and fine ones are girl's legs. As for the red wattle/comb, I wouldn't judge just yet based on that alone at such an early age.

Do you see waddles? I can't see them in the pics. As the lacing comes in, it will be very clear lacing on girls. On boys, near the top of the wing it becomes more mottled or barred/blotchy than laced. Usually very easy to see once it's coming in good.
