Simple & Delicious: Big's Scalloped Potatoes

I do remember my stove is right next to the wall too and if I am cooking something greasy, I would use foil and tape it high near the lights and an inch or so below the stove top.

Its a challenge keeping it clean!

Holy cow, Mike! You're not supposed to do things like that until you get old and senile!!!! (sounds suspiciously like something I'd do!) Well, it's nice to know you can heat an apartment with a cast iron pan!!!!

I had a stovetop next to a wall like that in my first house. What a pain in the patoot! the tile behind it only went up 6 inches, then just the painted wall,so you can imagine how fun that was to keep clean!!!


Anyway, I'm thinking a big roast and some of those potatoes for dinner tomorrow night. . . . yummmmm!
