Sinus infection?

Hello, any advice on how to treat sinus infections at home? My duck has a vet appointment but not until next Wednesday. Is there anything I can do or buy to help at home? Poor thing

Poor baby. Since you have a vet appointment next week, I don't think you should do anything.

If he’s having trouble breathing you might try VetRX .I don’t see there would be anything else you can do, I don’t think I’ve ever seen one so swollen. Poor thing

An update…. Vet agreed he has a sinus infection, prescribed antibiotics and anti inflammatory to be given twice a day for three weeks!! First week went well but he has now figured out all my little traps to lure him in and refuses to come off the pond. He started to look a bit better but is again looking swollen. He has completely lost his quack. Will contact the vet again but I have no idea how to help him without him coming close to me.

Thank you, yes I had been using VetRX on his nasals and under wings. He is eating and seems happy in himself but refusing to come close to me as he knows I grab him for medicine.

No, she did say sometimes you can squeeze it out but didn’t advise either to try or not to.
