WELL
I will be shocked if any of these last 3 eggs hatch,, it has been so hot,,
4 days ago I candled and saw movement in 2,, now,, I didnt see anything,, praying they are just napping.
egg #1 & 2 are dated the 27th, #3 the 29th,,, I truly dont think, if theses dont hatch, broody #3 cant set on more, [ 3 more weeks?] its to hot and it would be, I think, to much for her

When would 21 days be?

well the hen sat on 1 & 2 the 27th-- so 21 days is the 18th BUT

I went to the coop right after church and let broody #3 out to drink and poop AND
while she was rolling in the sand I fluffed the nest and put each egg to my ear,, hopeful
AND the egg dated laid on the 27th and sat on the 27th is PEEPING and shell is cracking

Updates...?

so sorry, Igood 11am,
Sunday at 3:30, just a little peep hole in egg #1 dated the
[ laid the 26th sat on the 27] -- then by 4:30 she was out of the shell

Yesterday mamm#3 showed her how to eat and drink,,
and I could hear egg #2 dated the 29th 0f 3 peeping


so , this morning at 5:30 there was a peep hole in egg #2,dated the 29th and now some of the shell is off but the chick is still in the egg,,, I dont hear anything from egg #3 dated the 27th
I just had some BK, and am headed back out to check on it
