Mamma #2 had a good dirt bath

And I was surprised when I liked out the kitchen sink window and saw mamma #3 with the 2 1 week olds out in the run,
All the other chickens left her alone and didn’t mess with the chicks,,

Good morning,
I got up at 4:15, Rooster was disturbed, went out , he was upset at one of the 5eek old fell off the roost, lol I put it back up and went in, made coffee, walked around in the dark watching the morning light inch its way up in the sky,
got 1/2a cup of coffee down and went out at 5 to set the feed, scoop the poop, rake the sand floor, open the windows, hahah I walked/held one of the 5 week olds and went out in the run, talked to it a bit,

That's very cool that he was upset one of the youngins fell off the roost. I bet he will be a good father.

Oh wow I am bushed!!!
Got my shower and am just now sitting down, after feeding to dogs and getting the BK dishes done and put in a load of wash, I started in on washing windows,, I started with the kitchen bay window and worked my way around to the fount porch- 9 windows inside and out, washed the storm door, dusted the living room, vacuumed the whole house, cleaned off the countertops in the kitchen , 4pm I was toast but got dinner made, after dinner I gave the flock fresh water- then washed the dog food bowls, 6:30, shower and PJ's

I still have 5 windows on the back of the house to do---but not today,

Wow. That was a lot of work. Sometimes the job needs broken up. I'm slowly repainting every door in the house and changing the knows. It takes a lot of time with all the taping, sanding, door removal, painting, and finally re-installation. I vastly underestimated the time required.

Good 4:30 am here,
pot just stopped dripping,
I slept totally rotten, but such it is ,,, Coffee, Bible Study, chickens , turn on soaker hoes, and feed dogs,
Then I will stay on task and get those windows done, I really need to mop too.
I have GOT to pull the dryer out and clean out the vent that goes under the house , I smell musty stink when I open the dryer.
I want can pickled beets later but not sue, that one can be for tomorrow if need be.
