I saw a pink blossom on a rhododendron yesterday, and thought to my self, how odd, can it be? do they ? can they bloom twice? but there it was, small, bold not caring winter is beating at the door.

Who would expect to see
Violets in late November?
As well might the apple tree
Blossom in dull December.

Things of this nature sound
Really beyond all reason;
For who on the earth has found
Spring in the winter season?

Yet violets come to me,
Even in wintry weather;
You say, But how can it be? —
Well, let us reason together:

Cicely's gentle hand
Sent them; and she is very
Friendly in Fairy-Land,
Loved of every fairy;

She is my dearest friend,
Happy am I to befriend her;
Fairies on her attend,
Wonderful gifts they send her;

Therefore I think you see,
When these things you remember,
How violets come to me,
Even in late November.

@Ladies-Eight Karen I pray a busy day for your DH was a good day and not an emergency day.
Than k you @Sally PB all is well.
It has been busy! We have a new grandbaby boy!! born in the 17th
we now have 12 grandchildren.


We went to Fred hutch oncology in Poulsbo on Friday. DH wanted her to run a 6mo CT's, and a full everything blood panel , cholesterol, hormone panel ect....this would help him know how aggressive his cancer is and what additional steps he MAY want to take and how the rest of his body is doing.
the oncologist only ran the necessary prostate blood work CBC/BMP and a PSA. All a PSA test tells you is how ticked off or how appy the prostate is. If a man goes bike riding and then has a psa test he will have elevate psa levels.
Bottom line, she said unless you are doing the antigen depravation therapy ADT ordering more tests are pointless. she wont do it.
despite he has been on an extrema Naturopath regimen NOPE-
We do go to the cardiologist on Thur. to get another ZIO patch

Saturday, I made enchiladas for a church meting and then made a lot of meatloaf for Sunday potluck.

After church I went to costco and snagged roasted chickens and salad , we took it all over to our sons for him and all the kids.
