Should we make a fresh pot of coffee??? I'm not quite mobile yet, there is tiny bit of light out.

I'll have some more coffee, I haven't been out to the coop yet. Yesterday, I had 2 of the brown LH's do "the squat", so soon, they should be laying. they are 22 weeks, so I guess for browns they still have 2 to 3 more weeks to go.
I let the 2 little red LH's sleep in a nesting box, they dont like getting pushed around at bed time.

My new chicks spent the first night in their new coop last night. Everything was good this morning. Here they are having breakfast.

Today, we got the DNA results back for Freya. She is 30-40% Lab (we could guess that), 30-40% Shepherd, and 20-30% Boxer!

All of which are listed as growing to 50+ pounds. Right now, she's at 43 pounds, so maybe she will get bigger.

She is 1000% loveable, and loved.

[Ladies-Eight]

Porchers good morning one and all!

Been out of sorts for a few days.

Tuesday worked outside making window frames for my coop.

Wednesday egg delivery, had my nails done, and went grocery shopping.

Thursday spent the day at ER with my husband related to his pain related to his fall last Saturday.

He had a CT scan with negative results and no fractures.

I feel like his pain peaked and now will get better -- we'll see.
