Porchers good morning one and all!

Been relaxing this morning related to my busy day yesterday.

My new counter tops were installed yesterday.

The plumber is the stickler in all of this, they charged me $185.00 to disconnect the garbage disposal and water.

They wanted $225.00 an hour for him to wait until the sink was installed and to come back another day they want $395.00 to reconnect the garbage disposal and faucet.

I am going to try to find someone else to intall them.

You would be surprised how easy it is to install a faucet. Now the garbage disposal I can't speak to.

Those prices are rediculous. I would have told him to pound sand as well.

Wow, Paul Simon looks soooo young in that picture...

I looked online to see if I could find an old friend of mine that I haven't talked to in about 30 years. She passed away in 2017.

Thank you. It was kind of a shock. She was only 57.

As I said, I hadn't talked to her in about 30 years; I moved away, and we lost touch.

The way the obituary was worded ("surrounded by family and friends") made me think it might have been a serious illness, like cancer, or something like that.

RIP, Suzanne. You were my first Best Friend.
