What a nice thing to say.@GrandmaDeKorte I just wanted to thank you for starting this thread. Every time I see the name I think of my Daddy. It has been 35 years since he passed. The last place he lived was an old farmhouse with lots of ground. A lot of it was woods and we all hunt.
Daddy spent lots of time on the back porch of the house, I can still see him there.
When we were in the woods, he could always tell who shot based on the type of shotguns we left with.
I have some funny stories (great ones to me). but I don't want to hijack your thread.
Thank you for reminding me of those last happy memories.
