@GrandmaDeKorte…I am 4 weeks into my first batch of fermented sauerkraut! I actually have 2 batches, but one got foamy. I still have it processing, but not sure it is still good. The liquid overflowed and a bit of the cabbage was exposed to the air. The original batch looks good though.

Boiling the kielbasa tonight to roast tomorrow and preparing the necessary items for dinner.

foamy is ok, your house may be above 65 degrees, it ferments faster is all. It mostly is done, I would taste it and if you like the taste, its done.
