up, at 4:45,
Coffees ready
I got all the new lavender planted yesterday after watering the garden. It got to 95 here yesterday. Today I want to get the border trim up so I can mow and weed-eat easier around the bed. much cooler this morning, 49 and should only be maybe 85 today.

Good morning

Sitting here contemplating watering the garden. Maybe after I finish this cup of coffee.
We got 4 dump carts of wood chips made yesterday morning and then I got the trim on one lavender bed done. This was not as easy as one would think it would be. Crawling on the ground is a killer. But this one is done. It’s not perfectly straight, it’s plastic. But I can use the weed eater and not whack the lavender.

I am up,, Coffee pot just beeped, I just heard a chick up. 3 chicks slept on the root at the very far eds against the wall, away from the hens and the rest slept in a nesting box.

I got up cuz my lower back said so, and the blood was cut off from my legs. Our mattress is an original Temperpedic with a Temperpedic memory foam topper. DH likes the softer bed and I dont. We do have a mattress we bought back in 2018 that is firmer, and sets higher, but LY with all the health issues he couldn't get in and out of it so I switched the beds around. I am going to have to start sleeping in the other room.

Its 46 out, Mostly cloudy my get to 67 today.
I MUST get to the lavender be #1 first,,,, then get all the mowing,,,, then laundry,,,,, and house work so on Saturday I am ready to help get the posts set up for the wood shed.
this style, just 5 bays- no floor up against the conx container-- 8 foot in the back, 7 foot in the front west end enclosed cuz the rain blows on that side. The back is up against the storage container front facing North. nothing fancy, just simple and easy.
