Yup were expecting snow down to 2000 feet. and four to five inches of it.... It was high seventies today....

Moms surgery was a breeze.... whew.

I am not sure how it came about but I have two turkey in a pen separate from all my other birds that I have had since they hatched and all of a sudden one got a black spot on her head! I have ordered some meds for her and I am hoping to nip it in the butt. Then she and her tom have to go.

what is the black spot, which disease or illness?

Quote: It is blackhead which is very bad for turkey especially. It kills them. The one med they did have in the US to treat is was banned by the FDA I guess. Every where I look online it say's that you can't buy the one thing that did treat them and that worked. So I am trying a cousin to that med and hoping it will help. No they are not. If they die or have to be culled I will have to burn their their remains. Then NPIP lab suggested I send one to the diagnostic lab in Auburn
