I haven't expressed my condolences yet.... and I am very sorry for your loss.... I think that loosing ones parents is the hardest loss.

I remember that drill that is all my Dad ever drank for coffee. I never did learn just how much powder to add to make it taste like coffee.

I do carry both the powder and the new liquid coffee thingies in my purse now just in case the place we stop for coffee is on a grounds budget.

Very nice what is in the eye? how did you put a whole scene in there? I thought it was a photo at first. Chickisoup I was just hoping my coffee had a brain cell preservative in it! Maybe I am not drinking enough!

It's my dog, and there was a reflection of the room, and me in his eye, so I did my best attempt to replicate it. Thank you!

Many schools do not teach cursive any more so I am becoming one of the best at penmanship--except I am like you and cannot read my own hand writing. Thank God for computers!

thanks... I do love sculpting as well. wether its lost wax or clay... but both have alot of support equipment that I dont have access to....

I actually have in mind a kind of chicken nest made of Terracotta. practical for my environment temperature wise but maybe not husbandry wise.

I don't have access or time to do sculpting. The last thing I sculpted out of wax was fingernails (I was like 10 lol). I do miss clay! *sigh*

I'm intrigued by this terracotta nest idea. What temps are we talking about? (We see 105* several days, a few in a row at a time and 110* at least a few days one at a time every summer here, but the dew point is always over 80 by then). And why wouldn't it be practical husbandry wise?

@tjo804 . You are welcome, Deb showed me a video and now my son is gonna try and build me a bin. Supposedly they will climb a ramp and fall into a tray for easy harvesting.... (Ok, I might have over simplified it a little)

Texas isn't too different than Fla when it comes to bugs, so...why? Why don't you just use the bugs you already have around???
What is it you said you ordered? Black soldier flies? What do they do anyway?

This is sad!!! My DH writes like a dr.

and my children complain about me making them learn to write in cursive and then me complaining about their penmanship.

And (if I'm not in a hurry) I have the best handwriting in the house; and when I am in a hurry, I can still read what I wrote (although, no one else can b/c I don't spell the same as everyone else...)

Computers...pfft. (except for BYC, that's the only good thing about computers...oh, and ordering chicks too).
