Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

It is 14 here in sunny Middle Georgia. The vacation is over. I report to work at 10 today instead of 7. I am finishing my first cup of coffee getting ready to get dressed and go to work.

Be careful folks. 'Snowy roads' down there are a lot different than up here. Travel safely.

I agree! It's insane. This morning we are 5 degrees WARMER up here than Atlanta!

We are supposed to get 5" of snow today but that's nothing for us. Our counties have literally mountains of salt and our plow guys know how to use it. Can't get to the main road? No big deal. If you don't have a plow on something, your neighbor down the road does and loves the chance to come and show off. Accidents in winter? Maybe a fender bender or two in town cause you can't see over the snow piles, but out on the main roads? People up from the south that have no idea what black ice is or some idiot pulling his trailer full of toys in too big a hurry to get to the cabin. Rarely a local unless they've hit a deer.

An entire state that doesn't know how to drive on greasy roads and no salt trucks?
NIGHTMARE!

Been there, seen that when my daughter lived in Atlanta. Speaking of salting - my truck is so coated in salt that it could be used as a salt lick.
