g'morning.

I stayed home today. a headache kept me up all night and it is still here, hoverring over me like a evil miasma. but I refuse to let it win. cold compresses help, but I have to get some coffee into me or I will have two headaches at the same time. that would be bad.

I have been watching an engineering course with the husband. now I want to build bizzare chicken coops out of tension menmbers and steel cable...LOL and I have always been such a traditionalist.

Just ordered some Trillium and Virginia Bluebells online...retail therapy that hopefully also will help with my cravings for spring!

I am sorry that you are not feeling well.

Chickens do great is all kinds of housing. Wood, unless it is cedar is likely not the best building material any way. Buggies like to hide in the wood.

Oh...for the freezing chickies, how about a heating pad? I have done that before, in a ziplock and then taped to one side of the brooder.

Thanks. I'm glad to have the ones I have; I'm not sending them back, but I'm going to complain next time I'm in there.

I was buying a chicken hutch at TSC to use as a small breeder pen for three pullets. The worker wanted to give me advice. I told Him I was good but Thank You Very Much!

I can't imagine anyone at TSC knowing enough about chickens to advise you!!!
