Grog morning.

Temps in the 40's and the wind really rippin' out there. Feelin' kinda rough around the edges after a rotten night's sleep. In addition to the usual barn chores, I had to stand out in the wind holding a couple of horses for the farrier. But hey, any day with horses in it is a good day (right, horse lovers?)

Soon as I get done with this

I am not a huge emoticon lover, but those bunnies are the BEST EVER!

Someone pressed the spring button last Tuesday for us. We are getting a freeze to night.
Another peach-less year for me. It burst out three days too soon.
Oh well, I am just going to take a drive up to see Hagar3. Purchase some peaches in person.

Not much. Eggs in the incubator, chicks in the brooder, Snoodle's laying right along.....enjoying my chicken world!!!

So sorry about your peaches. That's awful. A house we had a looonnnggg time ago had 3 heirloom peach trees. The first winter killed one. Then the next several years they were awesome, even in the off years. Then We had a huge maple tree dying off near by that the guys cut down. You guessed it. Right on the two peach trees. Took one right out and half of the other. It was never the same. A few peaches here and there, finally had to cut it down. They had the biggest, juiciest peaches I have ever seen. I haven't seen any like them since. Best peach pie, cobbler, jam, marmalade. Ever. I miss my peaches.
