No one is criticizing. Mostly, everyone's just kidding around.
Truth be told, we're just not interested in what is basically a knockoff of something when we already have the genuine article.
You can start any thread you want, call it whatever you want, but I promise you this: If you try to imitate something that someone else does (especially if it's social), you'll end up with either a poor imitation or something completely different. There's no way to recreate the atmosphere that the people here have already created b/c it's made of us. If you want to be part of it, we're happy to have you; if you want something similar somewhere else, then you're going to have to go create your own atmosphere elsewhere.

Someone pressed the spring button last Tuesday for us. We are getting a freeze to night.
Another peach-less year for me. It burst out three days too soon.
Oh well, I am just going to take a drive up to see Hagar3. Purchase some peaches in person.

It gave me PTSD...I have a plum tree that manages to miss complete pollination because of Rain!

Three years ago, it was fully pollinated and I had lots of plums. Last year less then 1/4 of a corp.....

Yay! My Sissy girl is MUCH better! She's out and about. She isn't limping at all, though she tires easily and can't jump at all. But I'm so happy my little girl is ok! And so is her brother BooBoo.

Nipple waterers were installed yesterday in the big pens, and in the brooder today. The chicks got it immediately, but the older ones still haven't figured it out yet, go figure. Of course, I just removed the old waterers this afternoon.

AND, I kid you not, it has dropped over 20 degrees here in just 3 hours. Super high winds too. BRRR!

Wow! We have higher winds than normal too. I had two chicks escape from the juvie pen b/c the safety netting came undone on one side. =( Then my youngest scared them into the woods. D= Now, I'm waiting for them to come home and hoping that nothing (including the big chickens) gets them while they're not in their pen.

I'm so glad Sissy is so much better! She's very young, right? So, hopefully she'll be good as new, just like it never happened (except hopefully she learned her lesson in safety). =)

Yeah, guess you can't teach an old chicken new tricks either.
