Thank you everyone! We are back and I am now the proud owner of my first 4 Buckeye. I have wanted Buckeye for about a year and asked for some this spring and waited for them they are 4 months old.


Hagar my DH said the stock yard in Demopolis or not but there any longer there is one here in Uniontown.

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Oh, the coffee was alright this morning. I tried putting some homemade caramel (read sugar I was cooking for something and ended up getting a little too much color into...), but I didn't get enough and I had to add sugar and...it just didn't come out that great. DH usually does it for me on the weekends, but today he slept in much later than usual, so I was on my own with my coffee.

Homemade pizza for dinner. I'm thankful to have three great cooks in the family!!! I don't have to cook, and I don't have to eat my own cooking!!!

ETA: Oh, yeah, and I'm waiting for my chicks. They should arrive Wed-Fri; hopefully Wed!!!

WRT goats... I LOVE GOATS... little Reprobates. If you think your fencing is adequate.... ADD HOTWIRE. Goats put their feet up on everything. If you have a tree in their yard.... wrap it in chainlink or chicken wire... My goats girdled two trees before I realized what they were doing....

My next goat yard will have rub bars along the bottoms of all the fences because they love to throw their shoulders into a wire fence and rub along the base. Its a grooming thing a socal thing too... But eventually the wire will scrunch enough that they can worm their way OUT. Then its trampoline on the car... rewire the house... Eat the licence plate tag off the car... Taste everything....

Did I say I loved goats? I really do mine were Nigerian dwarfs and one Pygmy.... He was a bull dozer and an escape artist.
