I woke up early this morning at 4 am. stupid back pain. What's a person to do? Get up, make coffee, eat yogurt with 4 aleve, Drink coffee and read BYC.   I tried to on my phone but when I tried to uplaod pics, I lost the internet connection, again. I got out the laptop. I should have done that in the first place. :/  Now all is well. Well almost anyway. back is do-able for a few hours. I hope everyone has a great Labor Day!

You're welcome. I wish I had gotten a couple of buckeyes instead of my RIRs last year. The reds are so aggressive, they are finally settling down, but they still try to bully just not as bad. They older flock and the 23 week olds are mixing better, but they still aren't too accepting of the 17 week olds. Hopefully in another month they'll all be fine.

Hopefully they will settle down and blend as a flock. They just have to establish the pecking order and they should be fine. That is how mine do. It usually takes a few weeks.

Not here! Here it's pepper-peach jam day!!! I have 11 pints in different sized jars to get me through the year. Yum!

Thanks everyone! Must be drug day. Peppers contain capsaicin. A known analgesic which I used the morning. Worked pretty well with the 4 aleve and the body controlling brace thing. This evening's medication was a frozen wine cooler " Hurricane" followed up with 3 more aleve after dinner. And there will be more " pepper cream " before retiring.
Those are as much drugs as I can handle. Though the Hurricane is pushing it.
