Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

I am super jealous.

My house smells like little boy bottom.

Make some coffee to cover that smell up!

Is it the coffee or the caffeine?
I realize the caffeine helps my brain function...and from what my friends have told me chemo gives a person some serious brain fog.
Maybe if you use a really small cup and can trick your brain into thinking you are getting a full cup.
Half a cup would just make me mad.

My Mom has dealt with severe neuropathy in her feet and a little in her hands after the chemo. However, it's been a couple of years now and it's almost gone. Hang in there!!!

Brain fog is putting it mildly!!! I had a cap made up to wear on my worst days that says "I have chemo brain what's your excuse" honestly.

I not only love the taste of my coffee, in all it's forms, I need my coffee to function! 50/50 coffee works as long as it's in copious amounts

Hey, whatever excuse I can use to keep my beloved cup in my hands works for me!!!

(I had the "original" treatment years ago, now I have to take a chemo drug every morning to keep things in check

mine will never go away (it's a side effect of the leukemia as well as the drugs used to control it, whoppee) BUT, fortunately it is progressing slowly and it's something I've learned to function with and I have a really great oncologist and support system. Besides, on the days things just don't want to function (got motor neuropathy too, oh goody) I have a good excuse to just curl up with my coffee mug and my puppy in my recliner!!!!
