Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

She has energy because she visits her kids. We drag ours around with us.

Although, now that I am not homeschooling anymore, I have more mental energy...and hair.

..and all the colds I have missed the last eight years. Ehh, 6 of one- 1/2 dzn of the other.

Indeed! It may take me 'til Christmas to recuperate. I have Friday - Monday to rest up. She comes back Tuesday!! My kids really admire her. My youngest thinks she's "all that"! Yes. She can keep up with the 15-year-old's pace more than I. -grateful that she gets to be a regular part of our lives.

Now, about that rest............

THIS IS COOP, BREEZEWAY AND GREENHOUSE SETUP. WE CUT A POPHOLE IN THE SIDE OF THE GREENHOUSE SO THEY CAN GO DIRECTLY FROM THE COOP THRU THE BREEZEWAY AND IN WITHOUT EVER HAVING TO TOUCH SNOW. THERE IS A LARGE CLEAR TARP COVERING THE EAST SIDE OF THE BREEZEWAY AND PLASTIC ON THE FENCE AND GATE TO THE WEST.
HERE IS MAX AND ONE OF THE SEX-LINKS JUST HANGING OUT. THE REST OF THE GIRLS ARE IN THERE TOO BUT WERE AT MY FEET.

THIS IS THE VIEW OUT MY KITCHEN WINDOW. OUR FIELD IS BEYOND TO THE EAST AND NORTH BEFORE DROPPING DOWN INTO OUR WOODS. BEHIND OUR ACREAGE IS LITERALLY THOUSANDS OF ACRES OF COUNTY, STATE AND FEDERAL LAND. THAT'S WHY WE GET SO MANY DIFFERENT "VISITORS" THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AND WHY MY GIRLS "FREE RANGE" CONSISTS OF LETTING THEM OUT INTO THE FENCED IN AREA YOU SEE (JUST TO THE RIGHT IS MY FENCED IN HERB GARDEN WHICH THEY GET TO PLAY IN THE SPRING AND FALL) AND ANOTHER FENCED AND GATED AREA TO THE SOUTH THAT ALLOWS THEM TO GO DOWN UNDER THE APPLE TREES. THEIR RUN IS TO THE NORTH OF THE COOP (AS YOU CAN SEE) AND RUNS TO THE EAST AND TO THE SOUTH BEHIND THE GREENHOUSE.

THE OTHER PIC IS, OF COURSE, OF THE MAIN DOOR OF THE COOP. IF YOU LOOK CLOSE YOU CAN SEE A COUPLE OF THE GIRLS IN THE BREEZEWAY.

YOU CAN BETTER SEE IF YOU CLICK ON THE PICS.
