We don't have snow, although we might get some this weekend. Its just really, really cold. It went down to -11C I think. I enjoy coffee more now days because its so cold it makes me grateful. haha

In that case, maybe you want some of our snow? You could make Mocha snow-cream then! But then that wouldn't be a warm cup of joe! We were -7 F. Low enough!!!! Just did the conversion thats -21

Tonight -4 F close enough! I'll stick with Fahrenheit numbers they are warmer!

The good news is according to the weather man in 11 days it will be in the mid 40's F. I think for now I'll be optomistic and choose to believe him!

Our power went out sometime last night, just came back up.

I was supposed to do lots of cooking today... ha!

So we just cooked stuff on the top of the wood stove, and I didn't get the stuff done that I needed to get done.

I had to drink instant coffee!

We were just starting to get all the generators running for the neighbor houses (we don't have one for us since we have a wood stove), and had one going in fits for about 3 hours, and had two more generators to set up, I had just started up the pow truck to plow all the roads and parking lots since we now had over a foot of snow and the blizzard with gusts of over 70 miles an hour had finally died down..... when the power came back on!

How was that for a run on sentence?

My 15yrold just left the room in a huff since I told him he didn't get to cook supper at 10pm. (we did already eat)

I love mule exhibitions! They are such underrated and clever animals.

I would love to see draft horses utilized more. The time will come that they will be needed, and only a few people will have them. The old ways were the hard ways, but they always worked.

The Calvary Lions Club has "Mule Days" every year in November in Calvary Georgia, just a step across the Georgia line from you. It is a very popular event with lots of events.
