Finally!  Picked a ripe tomato - Cherokee Purple.

My tomatoes, cucumbers, & peppers are loaded.  Squash didn't do so well for me.  I have some cabbages developing but I don't know when they are ready to pick?

All you incubator experts:  How detrimental is it to have a power outage of about 2-3 hours where the temps drop to 85 at day 5?  We had a thunderstorm while I was at work.  Currently trying to get the temps to level back out.

I think it will be OK.

Threat of frost again tonight.

Ron, thanks. I thought the article was interesting. I wasn't too concerned about the temp drop. If it had been a longer time or they were much cooler it would concern me more. My biggest concern is the stage of development, as the article stated, they are only on day 5 so I was afraid they would be more susceptible to the changes.

I will never go without a puppy again. It keeps the older dogs active, and me really happy.

Morning everyone! On my second cup of coffee and having toast with homemade apple butter! I only have 3 jars of it left. I need fall to get here so I can make more before I run out!
