ADORE eggs Benedict, but with BACON!!!!!

I think I would prefer it with bacon (and without the hollandaise sauce, not too fond of that stuff). Otherwise, Yummy!!!!

Today is the first day in a couple of weeks I've been able to drink more than a half of a cup and I'm taking advantage of it!
I picked up a cold "bug" the other week. Lasted about a week. Then some other kind of "bug" also lasted about a week. And through both weeks allergies are nasty this fall. Trying to catch up on everything before the snow flies! The inside of the coop painting will have to wait until spring.

but I still plan on painting the outside and finish the run. Weed whacking is once again waaayyyy behind!

Does anyone have any Ideas on how to fatten up a pullet? I have a BCM that had an impacted crop for a while earlier this summer. I gave her wet mash with oil and she finally grew enough she passed it and you can't tell she's had any impaction, but she is lowest on the pecking order and now very skittish and very skinny! I like to fatten her up in a good way not with junk food. but so far she's not getting any fatter just still growing. I give them wet mash about 3x's a week. they don't get alot of treats. I also give them BOSS 1 or 2 x's a week.

We've had trouble with congestion the past week or two too.
Eggs would fatten up your pullet. Maybe mix egg with her regular feed?



Fermented Feed.... just throw some in a container and wet it then wet it again untill its had enough and wet it again till there is a teeny bit of water on top.... Let it sit till youstart seeing some bubbles comeing up... and you can start feeding it.

There are Others here who use it so theycan expand on its use better. If I could do it I would....

Yeah, fermenting helps increase nutrients and helps them (and us too) with gut flora.
I ferment scratch grains during the summer for my free ranging flock(s).
 
Try Eggs Benedict with thinly sliced smoked Salmon.....

A Salmon patty....

Yum. I like smoked meat and I like salmon. Never had smoked salmon. Have to see if I can get some (IDK if they sell it here in LA, lower Alabama).



We call it Eggs Bacondict around here as everyone prefers bacon ...

Oh, don't worry about those! I bet it's an indigo. Super dark blue? We have those around here. They're harmless, run away and non-venomous.

Thanks to that video you guys learned something new about Finland again. We consume a bit over 2 pounds of coffee per person per month in this country. We're also the biggest dairy consumers in the world.
Well some of my kin must have come from your part of the country prior to the 1700's then because I use a 3 lb. can of coffee per week by myself and I drink a gallon of milk a week. lol

But Smoked fish in general is AWESOME. There is a restaurant here called Anthonys fish grotto. they had a smoked fish sampler as an appetiser.... Salmon, Tuna come to mind.... but any fatty fish can be smoked.
