Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

A few years ago Aleve helped me some but it's gotten worse so fast that I just felt like I was waiting on all my joint and bones to break at any second. And now I have a little pain now and then here or there but I can do things and move! That is the best part! I hope you can find something to help you!

Read up on it.... its a NSAID... which is neither hear nor there.... just a strong one. One dose per day. I am taking alieve which is also an NSAID... and when I choose to take the regular dosage get reliefe pretty quickly.... But it does a number on my gut. sigh. I will talk to a doc once i get on board. I am going through MediCal through Covered California. Medi-Cal originally was set up for low income families with children or elderly or emergency surgery like for Cesarian sections... But typically its not offered to people with more than one car or who have houses.... Obamba care only goes by income... So the application is twirling in Cyber space like a hot buttered cat array.... sorry my latest humor about cats has been a bit dark..... :lau deb
Be careful with that Aleve even though it's over the counter it's pretty powerful stuff. Very hard on the stomach and liver especially if taken with alcohol. My 90 year old mom was taking meloxicam She didn't tolerate N saids very well. She stopped taking it after I read that one of the side effects could be sudden death. I didn't know cats could do that. I'll have to try it with moms cat we need to cut down on the electric bill and that just might do it, note to self. Need more coffee here kitty kitty. Lmao

On a lighter Note.
Finishing up on my treadle feeder project.
I actually enjoyed building this, usually I like the "having done part" better than the "doing part" but I pretty much enjoyed this all the way through.
Looking forward to the final finish work,
Coffee will be consumed I'm sure.

Hope all who are not 100% feel better soon! I've used Aleve and Advil quite a bit and they can do a number on the stmach and liver if you have any issues with that at all. I alternate and try not to use before trying other alternate relief methods. Like warm/cold packs. Steam for sinus issues etc.

Feeder looks great!

Time for more coffee! Today is going to be beautiful out. Windy but gorgeous weather. And tomorrow is going into the mid 70's. :yesss:

Everyone have an awesome day! I'll be working outside! :clap

yep I only take Alieve when I have had two nights where I couldnt sleep because of the pain. Matter of fact I was told by a doctor, when my insurance wouldnt pay for Clebrex, that I could take up to three GRAMS of Ibuprophin per day. I did that for almost three years... with one month breaks. Then I weaned myself off all of it completely.

Why? Because I felt like someone had kicked me rIght under the sternum. I didn't get an ulcer but it took a good two weeks for that feeling to go away. So.... I take what I need when I cant sleep.

The other thing I do is take over the counter pain meds before I Have to do physical work... Like Tylenol.

Sipping my coffee and discussing our christmas/uncle's birthday party with my mom and sister.

I ended up culling Eppie. I feel really relieved now though, glad I was off this weekend for work because its been just an eh' type of weekend for me. I have learned my lesson, always get medicine as soon as possible and keep it handy! You never know when you need it!
