Hi, I'm also a coffee drinker. Grew up on it. Some do taste like they smell. Try Gevalia Peruvian Organic. One of the best coffee's I've ever drank.

I will have to try that one.

Welcome!!!

Quote: I usually add spices to my french toast. Cinnamin, Nutmeg, Cloves and/or Ginger. I use half and half in it as well. Creamy, and spiced. Yumm. Every year I make Eggnog for the holidays from scratch. Cooked and pasturized. Since I now use eggs from my hens it is so much richer.
I saw Eggnog in the Walmarts the day after Halloween.

We tried making Baja Fish Tacos for the first time tonight. Surprisingly easy and super delicious!!!
In searching for recipes, I found a healthier fish taco recipe that sounds good too, so I told DH I wanted to try that some time as well.
I say "we", but I really mean our girls. Anyway, they made eclairs for the first time too. I didn't know what the younger one was talking about when she asked me about the pastry cream, so that ended up a little over cooked; otherwise, they were delicious too. I'd rather have them stuffed with something chocolate than pastry cream, but the chocolate on the top was sufficient for me to try them.

Yay!!! More stuff with no calories. Also, you might want to know that absolutely nothing has any calories at all on Sundays!!!

I will have to try that one.

I steam saute Tilapia with a little lemon juice and water... non stick pan... it cooks very quickly... then split the filet and throw it in a fish taco with the cabbage and salsa.... much tastier than the breaded fish.... I suck at breading fish any way... LOL.

well, spouse has finally deserted the kitchen, I got to clean the couch... actually it wasn't a big deal at all. Came right off when I used soap with the warm water.

We got one duck and 4 roosters done, in just over 3 hours.... AWESOME! And, for the first time ever, I did NADA!

Big boys are so cool! Child #4 was super excited that he is now old enough to gut. So, he got to pick which one he wanted to gut. So funny. I had three boys butchering, plucking, and gutting, the oldest boy (who will not kill) was inside on kitchen duty, as well as 'pretty-ing up' the finished birds (getting the few left over feathers, washing the cavity, etc.). Youngest boy hauled wood and started the fire. It isn't that cold today... that polar vortex must be pushing all the warm air up here, it is all kinds of rainy. But, maybe because of the increase in humidity, I was all kinds of cold.

NICE day!!!!
