Personally I've only had rack of lamb one time. I was probably about 19, and I found it q bit tough and stringy. Maybe it was the cook...but since then I've been too scared to try again.

As for other foods, I'm open to TRY almost anything. Yet I've become very picky the older I get.

Good hearin' from ya!

Happy birthday/anniversary, Bama! Hope you have a wonderful day.

Greetings Reese! And anyone else new to the thread. As y'all have probably noticed, you don't have to be a caffeine addict to enjoy this thread, but it helps.

It's a soggy Saturday morning here. Tropical Storm Ana is dumping on us. Hurricane season doesn't even start for almost another month; I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

One cup of coffee down, and I almost feel human. It may take more than that this morning . . .

DH was reading something to me the other day about the tropical season starting early for the first time in like 30 years or something.
I don't remember anything else, but I remember I was studying Skinner that week.

Thanks to all first the warm welcomes!

what exactly is the main topic of this thread? Is it duck or chicken specific?

Check out the first post.
It's coffee, chickens, other poultry, and anything else that anyone wants to talk about. =D

Yep! No discrimination allowed here! We are even tolerant of tea drinkers!!!

And I thank God for that every time I get on here.

Lol. She is pretty low maintenance.

So am I, but I called my DH (Dear Husband) on his crap when he tried to post hoc pass off a dozen red chicks we were already planning to buy and just happened to pick up on Valentine's Day as being my Valentine's chicks. He normally doesn't do anything for our anniversary or Valentine's Day, even though I always do at least something for him; that doesn't bother me, but I wasn't going to let him get away with that nonsense. He apologized.

Happy BD bamadude. Throw a couple eggs at my son's place if you go by.

I like your signature. =)

I'm sorry about the one chick!!!

Happy day to all the mothers out there.

Especially to the ones with offspring like these.

Are these yours?
Did you make your wife clean it up?
The fat, young one on the right is so cute!!!

Rain? I reme3mber what that was. Maybe tomorrow.

Whew! Wish I could share some with you. Saturday we got 5 inches. I haven't checked the rain gauge this morning,, we got a ton last night too.

BTW: You can stop the broody dance now! Thanks for your help. I have 6 - 5 week olds, and at least 5 new chicks under a mama. Now, can you make my duck STOP trying to brood?
