Six months old! I'm gonna eat my silkies!

I can't handle the indecisiveness any longer.
My two silkies are 6 months old tomorrow. Neither has had any change in looks for the past month or two. They've gotten bigger, but no more comb or wattle development.
NO crows. NO eggs.
My rooster is not mating either of them and neither of them is trying to mate any one.

That's it.

I'm eating them.

Dear God, Kat...didn't you see the show around Halloween on the Food Network(Chopped, I think) where they cooked a silky? It was freakin' purple!

It was awful-especially once you knew what you were looking at-poor little silkie! I was horrified. Gross!

In the almost two years I have had Carlotta, my silkie, she has laid a total of four eggs. In that time, she has been broody for almost all of it
