Slight rant..

I have nothing against people from Maryland. I was just kidding with my buddy Marlinchaser

Buster I hope you get a good book from Rand McNally before you head to Ohio, because if you get to the covered bridges of PA, you have driven too far. Whens the visit, I might have to visit my family in Oh when you head this way.

I hope to take a trip there next winter sometime. I will let you know- maybe we can all go to lunch or something. My sis told me that she would show me around all the sights when I am there- like DC and such so I am hoping that I can go for a week or so and cram it all in in one shot.

It's ok, DW is shy in person too. Marlin and I could chat and you two could listen in together.

I do believe that flying out of the door screaming something in regards to OMFG that bull will KEEEEEELLLL you! would have a good effect on the trespasser...

My 2nd uncle raised cattle when he was living up here and he's done it to me before... You can imagine a 10 yr old in the middle of a head of cattle sh*tting a brick.

Sara, that would be really frustrating! Your bridge is beautiful, though! I might have to make a road trip out your way one of these days! I love covered bridges (and it would be awesome to meet you in person... I'm shy, too!).

Marlin - I didn't know you were originally a Buckeye! That's awesome.

One poster talked about the pig barn at the fair - I can definitely relate! On the last day I help with loading the pigs out of the barn. We put gates up AND signs telling people we are loading and that they shouldn't come in the barn. I can't tell you how many baby strollers come through the barn after they've ignored the sign and come in anyway!
Another thing that drives me CRAZY every year at the fair is parents who think it is cute to let their little ones crawl on a cow that happens to be laying down. Sure, it makes for cute photos, but they DON'T know that animal or how it may react, so really, they're putting their child in danger.
