I am close to Dandridge but can't remember where everyone else is. This thread has not been going very long; hopefully as time passes more people will jump on board. I am sure there are others closer to you. Glad you stopped by.

Hi everyone I live in morristown with a small flock of birds and various pets I was last on byc about 6months ago so lots of you guys are new to me.

So what kind birds y'all got?

I have a flock of EEs that are between 6-8 years old with 2 pullets in from last years hatch and 2 BCM (I think mixes) that are 4 yrs or so.

I have 8 LF bbs Orpingtons 4 pullets and 4 cockerels (one is a year old and the others will be at various times this year). I will be thinning down the cockerels as soon as I make a decision on which ones to keep.

How about everyone else?

I only raise and breed Partridge Rocks. I am doing bred preservation here and will only work with one breed. After going over my list of wants that was one of my 3 choices. As of now I am down to 7 but am planning a huge hatch out for this year. Not selling any of them as I need to restock our flock. I free range mostly here and got hit hard with dog attacks after our farm dog past away last summer. She has now been replaced and that will not happen again since neighbors moved with their naughty dogs. Now we are just back too the stupid male hawks.

Coker Creek here. I have a small layer flock, 12 American Game,10 pair OEGB,a trio of Rosecomb and a RIR chick hatched out last week with 13 TOES!! I don't know how to post pictures but if anyone wants to see it and take some pics I would be happy to meet you in Tellico Plains, Madisonville,Athens area.Has UT Animal Science Dept baffled. Took he/she to Gatlinburg Monday to Guiness Records, waiting to see if it is a record. The local kindergarden class had a name the special chick contest and the winning name is Toe Knee.

I raise call ducks, sebastopol geese, lemon cuckoo orpingtons, silkies and showgirls. We have two broody geese at the moment really suprised they beat my silkies to start setting this year.
