I agree with the others here. If he will not go, call a neighbor who knows how to rope calves. Hog tie him and toss him in the back seat and take him in. Any chance he is german ancestory like I am?

I hope I'm not being insensitive to your plight- but to NOT get some medical help right away is just needlessly endangering his life. And his family needs him, in tip top shape!

Yes, it's inconvenient as can be- I live out in the sticks, too. But he is running a very real risk of permanent damage to his hand.

My DH was a Rescue Diver- and he says that it is not "manly" to take such risks, and to please get somebody in the medical profession to take a look.

I'm not going to PM you, I imagine you've had quite a few- it shows you how much BYCer's care!

My DH can be very rockheaded, but he knows medical/rescue 6 ways from nowhere- and he was floored by this post.

I am sending some best and very positive thoughts their way.
 
whats the big deal, its just a rattlesnake. people in churches get bit all the time. his arm will either rot away from the inside or he will get better.
 
I talked to Tina about 4 p.m. She and Lynn were headed to the ER. I know she appreciates all your thoughts and prayers and I hope to hear from her tonight to let us know some news. If I hear before she posts here, I will post on the OKIE thread.
