Their calling for sleet on Wed.. Glad, I left the tarp on the windows. Low will be in the 20's & high in the 40's.

Luckily I have some extra pieces...hoping stores get some shipments by the end of the week. Still no hot water since the tankless water heater started leaking.

Here we go again Brrrrr!! Guess, I'll start dripping the water. Hopefully no broken pipes this time. I guess I need to purchase a heated dog bowl .Good luck to all.

everything frozen again...I have a job interview and can't even get prepared...guess I will go looking and smelling the best I can...lol maybe my personality will win them over.

it was 45 degrees an hour ago and drizzling...right now its 28 degrees and sleeting. Everything is icing over now. They said it wasn't going to freeze until tonight....WRONG. I can only imagine the accidents today... Only in Texas!

we lost one of our bantams today, my best guess is to the freeze

he was one of the smallest bantams we had a golden seabright. He was living with the layers so I thought for sure he would be warm enough since he was with the big girls. But my son found him this morning in the corner of the coop. I am guessing he got kicked off the perches and couldn't firgure out how to get back up on them with the others.

I am so tired of this!!! well I am going to prepare more next year for something like this, I have been just totally caught off guard this time! Gotta work on running some sort of electricity to the coops I guess.
