SNOW SUCKS- how much is in your area

i hate winter it is too cold to raise chicks unless you have a huge basement lol.... we have a few inches here hope that it doesnt get to bad i pray for the people getting more snow than us in eastern TN.....How much snow are y'all getting in your area

We had 18 inches last week but got rain, 48* temps and it all melted today. More coming next week--10 to 20 inches they say. That's life in upstate NY when one lives downwind of Lake Ontario and Lake Erie.

they are telling me 12 more inches by morning. Blizzard and whiteout condiions as of 1:30pm.. let up about 7pm but now is going again

Zero. i'm in California, the low land part. Although last winter we got a sprinkling one morning. It was very magical, but gone in a couple hours. i'm not sure i have the fortitude to live somewhere that snows a lot.

Lets see we have 1 1/2 feet of snow on the ground, temp around zero and a -25 wind chill..

It is perfectly normal for us... An "average" winter temp for Dec, Jan, Feb is highs in the single digits to teens with lows around -10

By the way the coop is not heated with anything but chickens... However it is insulated better than 90% of the houses in the US
