He really needs to be indoors. Once they get chilled their digestive tract slows down, they stop eating and drinking and it goes downhill from there.

I suspect he had some sort of major infection and hypothermia that shut down his intestines, which caused crop stasis (stuff stays in crop and does not get digested), so when he died, he vomited this stuff up. This is a very common part of the dying process.Do you know what the stinky slime in his mouth would be?
It smelled like shit and rotten eggs, and i think that's what chocked him.
Any ideas?
It means some water went down his windpipe instead of his esophagus. Have you ever choked on some water. And said it went down the wrong pipe. Water doesn't belong in the lungs. And foreign stuff in the lungs can cause infections.what does aspirated some water mean?
Is that dangerous?
Would that go that fast?I suspect he had some sort of major infection and hypothermia that shut down his intestines, which caused crop stasis (stuff stays in crop and does not get digested), so when he died, he vomited this stuff up. This is a very common part of the dying process.
Another common part of the dying process is open mouth breathing. Many times, 24-48 hours before death, they will start doing this.
