Snowy Mallard Problem, PLEASE HELP QUICKLY!!!

DEAD. When I picked him up, he started rattling his wings, so then i put him in a lukewarm tub. Then he started shaking his tail, head, and wings. A bunch of terribly reeking slime came out of his mouth and then it was over.
A lovely duck and 100 dollars down the drain in 5 days.

Do you know what the stinky slime in his mouth would be?
It smelled like shit and rotten eggs, and i think that's what chocked him.
Any ideas?
I suspect he had some sort of major infection and hypothermia that shut down his intestines, which caused crop stasis (stuff stays in crop and does not get digested), so when he died, he vomited this stuff up. This is a very common part of the dying process.

Another common part of the dying process is open mouth breathing. Many times, 24-48 hours before death, they will start doing this.

what does aspirated some water mean?
Is that dangerous?
It means some water went down his windpipe instead of his esophagus. Have you ever choked on some water. And said it went down the wrong pipe. Water doesn't belong in the lungs. And foreign stuff in the lungs can cause infections.

Would that go that fast?
When I bought him on Friday he seemed fine, just a little slower than the rest, that was all. Sunday sprained his leg, Tuesday all fine with the exception of a sprained leg, Wednesday morning very lethargic, which only got worse, and dead at five.
