Snowy Mallard Problem, PLEASE HELP QUICKLY!!!

Pics
Sorry. I think the breeder should give you the duck.

At least a HUGE reduction, and only because they “seemed” healthy when they left. Any reputable breeder would offer something, IMO.

It is possible that a perfectly healthy bird can go to another place where birds are perfectly healthy, but still get sick from not having the same immunities built up in their system. Not saying what the situation is in this case, but without a necropsy, it’s just speculation.

The guy is a nice guy. I posted an ad asking for mallards. He said he had a trio available. I said, awesome, can I see some pics? He then sent me some pics of the mallard trio, but in the picture were also snowy mallards. Excited, I asked if he could please sell me those too. He said he was fine with that. I said, boom, all take all five for 300. He brought them to my place on Friday, all healthy and well. After 5 days, one died. That's not really his problem. By the way, he doesn't breed them, but owns a lot of other birds and has lots of contacts. He had just bought these Snowies and didn't offer to sell them to me, just the regulars, which are very healthy. If they would have been sick, he wouldn't have bought them either. He knows a lot about birds. Now that I asked for them, he was fine with it. Not his fault.
