....I did got everything else I need (I think lol) and got the front framed...I will have to work hard this week every day after woork to have it finished by the weekend (as it was my goal!!!)

Here is the front..the door is going to go on the left side and it will be about 3' wide (to allow room for me to get fat!!! lol)

Here you can see the hardwire cloth up on the side that will be against the fence..also the wall of the coop on the same side....as always everything has been primed...

Also any advise you can offer will be greatly appreciated....I'm doing what I can with what I have and carpentry smarts is not one of the things I have lol

You've got a nice big yard to work with and it looks like a great start on the coop. Nice job!!!

So I got a late start today due to having to stop at the store for another of my pets. One of my dogs broke the cage she sleeps on so I had to buy a new one. The good news is that I now can use the old cage as a brooder

I put the coop back on it's permanent location and got it level...and to my surprise evrything is level or very close to it...woohoo

I also got most of the roof frame on..but it got dark on me quick!!!!

Sorry it was dark that's why it's blurry. The roof is only resting on the frame as the frameing is not done (as you can see by the temp 2x4's on the front). 2x4's will go in bwtn all the rafters.

The frame work....

Tomorrow I hope to finish the frame and put chicken wire on top to close the gaps!! The fasten the roof and maybe frame the door....

So about 90% done....all I need is to finish the nest boxes, put the wire up, paint the inside of the coop, put the floring down and come up with some type of roost ( I could use your help here!) Also I was wondering if the ventilation would do or if I should add a window to the south wall.......any advise will be appreciated!

Here is the east side...door framed up and it actually works!!! woohoo!
