It is nice living in the frozen tundra of the north woods... no stink bugs, no asian beatles.... Just army worms every 10 years or so..

Humans! We create a problem and then introduce a bigger one to fix it.

They fly like they're drunk! One way to trap 'em is to put a bowl with a drop of soap under them - they fly out and fall down right into the water! They die pretty quickly, but sort of labor intensive to scoop them up one at a time.




I just wish they would just stop when it gets dark already!!!

Reminds me of playing with my daughter whenshe was little.

House was invaded by those ladybugs. Everywhere Ladybugs!
So I got the bright ideal of me and her using the dustbuster to
suck them up. (I really figured the dustbuster would kill them)

Sucked us up a whole bunch of the little fellers, went to dump
them in the trash...opened the dustbuster and every dang one
of those bugs flew away.

Stupid bugs!

However, my daughter thought that was funny.

OH! That's what's on my gourds on the front porch! I've been trying to figure it out. So, I shouldn't squash them, and probably should move gourds out to the brush pile in back - so as to get stink bugs away from the DOOR!

So now the person who came over calls me and tells me that she got the bugs on her car at my house and now everywhere she goes she gets stink bugs. This of course if obviously my fault so she is taking the car to get it detailed to get the stink off.

So, then she lectures me on how if I washed my walls the bugs would go away.
