I loved my ducks, the wife did not love their mess so we don't have any at the moment. Ducks are way less predator resistant than chickens so be wary. Had a raccoon reach in through the chain link fence and pulled their heads off. So sad...

Duck update:
Decided against the straw as it stays wet and went with pine shavings. Downsized their waterer since I only had a 5 gallon for my big flocks of chicks. I have not decided on names yet. Pictures are yet to come. They are eating fine and drinking fine. They sleep just like chicks but are very active when they are up.
