Only one suggestion - pigeons like to perch with their feet flat rather than gripping. Try offering him this option and see what he chooses?

RIP to my pink hairbrush, a victim to Squabble’s experiments with gravity.

Let Lulu out to spread his wings and he made friends. His tail is a mess as he keeps rubbing it on the cage bars when on the food bowl.

The mighty Squabble watches over his/her domain.

Squabble has a flat perch as well as the branch ^^ He seems to prefer sleeping on the branch and perching on the plank.

Squabble towards my dad: ”So... You have chosen death.” *Bite, slap slap slap, bite bite!*

And yup, they are one of the few non primate animals to do so.

Lulu is my Diamond Dove, an Australian species. ^^ I have have had him for four years alongside my Japanese Quail Scrappy.
